Introspection — what better way to start a week.
Question: What do you need God to deliver you from?

Deliverance — what does that mean, really? It’s not the Hollywood movie with banjos playing. Deliverance is the action of being rescued or set free.
Most of my life I have needed to be set free from pain — pain that was inflicted upon me by the very people who were supposed to love me. I needed to be rescued from their squalor.
If I found myself still living amongst them, I would not be free. I would be entangled in their webs of deceit, lost in the chaos of manipulation.
I have been delivered, for sure. A lot of religious people throw around rules of forgiveness that just aren’t from God’s righteous throne. Their manmade rules keep you entangled to those that would never let you live free. This just is not Jesus.
Forgiveness untangles you from the deceitful web of incestuous families. It does not keep you tangled in their mess.
Make sure you are living the difference — by being delivered OUT of the garbage.
