Jewel: If I had just focused on my over drinking, my heart wouldn’t have healed. If I had only looked at everything I was doing wrong, I couldn’t have found the path to safety.
Look past what you are doing wrong. Look around your circumstances. God is above it all. Set your eyes on Him.
Gem: Jesus came to heal my broken heart. Jesus came to set me free. That takes my eyes off of me and puts them onto Him.
That is where my freedom lives.
Metaphorical Gunpowder: What if I told myself, “I’ll never been good enough.” I rather like that idea because I walk with a God that is more than enough. In other words, I don’t have to arrive. He did it for me.
