Jewels, Gems & Gunpowder

I would love to hear from you! Sharing Saturday with you.

Jewel: If I only focused on myself, my pain, my past, my hurt — I wouldn’t make it. I try most days to focus on you. While I see myself in full accountability, it my love for God’s people that moves me on. Keeps me on the straight and narrow, so to say. Although, my narrow is probably super wide to religious people (insert smile face here!).

Gem: Thank you, King David, for your wise words in Psalms 19: “But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me.” The willful sins — oh boy, that’s a hard one.

Then, we have Paul’s strong words in Romans 8 where he tells us, “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

So thankful for that. I cannot separate myself from God’s love.

Metaphorical Gunpowder: I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough.

Stop giving your heart away to the wrong people.

Leave a one line jewel, a one line gem or something you kept yourself free from with metaphorical gunpowder.

Happy Saturday!
