Jewels, Gems & Gunpowder

I would love to hear from you! Sharing Saturday with you.

Jewel: My heart attempts to find purpose in life. Without purpose we are sailing our ships without wind.

Seek a purpose driven life.

Gem: There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: 1) A proud look [the attitude that makes one overestimate oneself and discount others], 2) A lying tongue, 3) And hands that shed innocent blood, 4) A heart that creates wicked plans, 5) Feet that run swiftly to evil, 6) A false witness who breathes out lies [even half-truths], 7) And one who spreads discord (rumors) among brothers.

These words are in Proverbs 6. When I think about being more Godly in life, I ponder what that means. If I read the words above, I think I see God more clearly defined and I like His nature.

Metaphorical Gunpowder: Goals, I have so many goals. My children, I want to spend so much unadulterated, free time with them. My husband, I want to know him more. Patience, I must cultivate so I don’t give up.

Goals, I’ll never give up seeking justice.

Leave a one line jewel, a one line gem or something you kept yourself free from with metaphorical gunpowder.

Happy Saturday!
