I would love to hear from you! Sharing Saturday with you.
Jewel: Waiting! Waiting! Waiting!
I feel like I’ve been waiting for most of my life. I’m not really sure what I’m waiting for – by waiting for something good to happen next.
When I used to run too fast, live too hard and give myself to torrential turmoil in bad relationships, I didn’t have time to wait. I was too busy.
The more you heal, the more you see that life is lived in the ordinary. Average days are now more a constant than days filled with pain and sorrow. Whilst I love the change, I’m not used to it.
So, I wait. Each day I anticipate more – better things than the day before. It’s quite lovely, you see, but I still feel like a leopard trying to change my spots!
Gem: There is one truth that remains, “Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.” Spoken beautifully by Paul in Colossians 3, verse 25.
Metaphorical Gunpowder: I need to learn to sit with the ordinary, the mundane – maybe even the normal. I’ve come through such mayhem that quiet, uneventful days make me a bit nervous. Anxious even!
I’m learning to be thankful for such days! No one is being raped or murdered, there is no delay in peace and my days are surrendering to better times.

Leave your jewel, a gem or something you kept yourself free from with metaphorical gunpowder.
Happy Saturday!
