Jewels, Gems & Gunpowder

I would love to hear from you! Sharing Saturday with you.

Jewel: I needed to tap into my resource of mindfulness this week and calm down some old wounds. My happy thoughts were my children, and their children. Oh, what jewels!

Gem: The Sin and Doom of Ungodly People, which I equate most severe abusers to be. The book of Jude says it well: 12 These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead. 13 They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

Don’t stay with these people.

Metaphorical Gunpowder: This week I blew away some old lingering theories I’d brought with me from my past about myself. I am worthy! I am loved! I am willing to carry on and fight the good fight of faith.

Leave your jewel, a gem or something you kept yourself free from with metaphorical gunpowder.

Happy Saturday!

Keep steady in the battle. Together we do win the war against childhood crimes.
